While most lightweight down jackets lose heat at the seams, the Baltoro solves that with a dual-layer offset baffle design and heat-reflective fabric. This boosts insulation without adding much weight, making it ideal for everything from ski tours to freezing rock climbs.
The cut is just as important, featuring a helmet-compatible hood and high collar that keep warmth in when the wind picks up and other jackets start to fail.
It packs down small into its own hand pocket, offering a powerful punch of warmth that’s easy to stash in your pack or clip onto a harness for whenever you need it.
